The Delectable Egg LoDo-Dine-In, Patio Dining, Takeout & Delivery Open

The Delectable Egg is a multi unit operation and I generally do not review those. However, I really enjoyed my visit to the Egg on Market street. The Egg cooked my meal exactly as I had ask with crispy hash browns and bacon. The omelet was decent and the service was friendly. Not much more would you want for a very early breakfast in extremely cold weather. The coffee was also good and replenished as required at that hour. I also liked the upscale design of the restaurant with its exposed brick and hardwood floors. I would return next time I am in Denver for breakfast.

This may have been the first restaurant I sat down to eat in at Denver. Since moving here, it's become one of my favorites. Everything I've ordered off their substantial breakfast menu has been good. I've been sticking with the Fiesta Skillet lately, but the benedicts, pancakes, breakfast burritos are all great. Service is good, seating is good. It can get busy on the weekends, but they are efficient and have heaters outside to keep you warm while you wait. If The Delectable Egg has a weakness, it would be the coffee. It's fine, nothing amazing, but decent. However, you get a lot of it and it's in a thermal carafe so it doesn't get cold.

So I am a tourist from Miami and was referred to this place from a sister of mine. I ordered a meat lovers omelette meal (with potatoes) and two french toast and it was not the best at all. My potatoes were not seasoned well and the french toast was just not made well. My omelette however, was awesome! Our server Marius was an awesome and the customer service inside the facility was also above and beyond!

What a fantastic breakfast place! Even on the morning after VDay, not sure why this place wasn't packed. It should be. Nice people, great place, great food.

Amazing spot for breakfast! Stopped by for breakfast and sat outside with a heater placed near our table for comfort due to indoor dining restrictions. We were greeted very warmly and enjoyed freshly brewed coffee. It started snowing during our visit and our server placed an umbrella over our table, which we really appreciated. The service was excellent and food was great as well. Enjoyed the French Toast Royale with two eggs and chorizo sausage. The French toast is made with brioche bread and it was amazing! I also enjoyed the coffee black with no cream/sugar because the taste was that good. Be sure to stop by if you’re in Denver for a great breakfast!
