A great place for lunch or dinner in St. Annes. Relatively new establishment opened in 2017 in an old banking building. Great seating outside as well as in their conservatory. The selection of beverages here (especially the Gin) is fantastic. I highly recommend their own Deacon ale and lager. Wine list is also well rounded. As for food. For starters we had the squid, mussels (even though it's a main it makes a great starter) and the breadboard. The squid was nothing special but I can only blame how difficult it is to get squid in the area. The mussels were fantastic, served with crusty bread and fries. Fresh, well cooked and a beautiful sauce. The bread board was hearty, with a good amount of bread and various dips. As for mains. I had the fillet steak with garlic and shallot butter. The beef was fresh, well cooked and well seasoned. The dry age process is really noticable. However the slight astringent flavour told me that beef wasn't from the best of pastures but good nonetheless. Came with fries and a side salad which we also good. The sticky braised beef was well seasoned and hearty, though a little dry in some areas with was good overall and I would probably order this for lunch or an early evening dinner. Side was truffle and parmesan chips, for some reason one of them was dead cold but the rest were hot. Strange anomaly but acceptable. Pesto Gnocchi was great, very light and silky gnocchi with a fantastic sauce, plenty of flavour and perfect for vegetarians. Portion was a little small I think but still good. Dessert was the vegan brownie, good but nothing to write home about. Sorbet and mixed nuts were good but too much going on if the brownie was the real star of the show. Service was fantastic and staff were very friendly. Would definitely come back.

Bit expensive but food is really good and portions are good too. Even so, not somewhere we could go each week. I think a tweak on the prices slightly and you'll have more regular visitors for food, like us. Good time though. Service was good. Cheers.

Lovely place for a very nice lunch. Decent veggie options too, great service. Really liked the conservatory area on the front, super on the rainy day I was there. Portion sizes are large when it comes to the sandwiches.

The food was good. I had the liver parfait and the fish pie. Partner had the slow cooked sticky beef. The service could have been better. Long wait for food, although we were advised. Drinks order took so long, they asked us again if we wanted to order drinks whilst we waited. When drinks did arrive we had to ask again for the rest of the order. No foresight from the floor. Table not really big enough for everything they wanted to leave on the table.

Absolutely top class. The staff are really great and the food is reasonably priced for the quality. I went for my 60th birthday and the staff made my night. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone
