We celebrated a birthday recently in our bubble due to covid. The arrangements for distancing and cleanliness were excellent. And for once the clientele also seemed to be following the rules. Service was excellent. The menu was appropriate and as expected. A pretty good choice of some standards and some that were a little different. All the choices we made in our party were prepared very well. All very tasty. All cooked to perfection. I would thoroughly recommend this pub for a cosy meal with friends.

Very tasty food. Would certainly recommend and call again. Not far from Benningborough Hall so a great place to pop if your hungry after a day out. Might be worth calling ahead to book a table.
A warm welcome, to both of us & the dogs. The food is consistently good. All C19 precautions appear to be in place, so it felt very safe. Several good walks close by.
Very pretty pub cosy with the fires on. Spacious. Friendly staff and plenty of parking. Food was tasty and good portion sizes. I would have given 5 stars if they were vegan friendly.
Fantastic meal in classic pub setting. The seafood macaroni starter was particularly good. Fish n chips a bit too greasy for my liking! The restaurant room is an airy open space with lots of natural light - much nicer to eat there than the pub if you’re going for a meal. The pub is great, it’s warm and well-lit, and has all the right newspapers and beers! Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Value 5/5
