Loved the atmosphere at this place. It was definitely bustling so you knew the food must be good. Enjoyed their happy hour drinks and oysters. They were so fresh and delicious. Note: it’s better to schedule a reservation because they filled up quickly and I can imagine it’s hard to walk-in and get seated right away.

Excellent restaurant in beautiful Charleston. The Darling had some amazing food! The lobster and crab roll was by far the best my son has ever had. Now this is a young adult with opinions....so for a compliment like that it had to be delicious. It is served cold however my son said it was more room temperature.

Our server was great and super friendly, same with the manager, but the food was actually terrible which is surprising for a city where there’s great food on every corner. The baked oysters tasted like they’d been sitting there for hours and they just threw them under the broiler to warm up. The crab dip was good but far too salty and the crab pasta was possibly the worst pasta I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Zero taste - even with adding lemon, salt and pepper. I typically don’t write reviews but the food was so bad here I feel compelled to let others know!

A local recommendation that was absolutely perfect! But, get reservations! We went twice during our visit. Charming exposed brick building. Seafood was very fresh! Sauces made in-house. Had food envy every time we saw someone else's dishes go by. Staff was extremely attentive, cheerful and professional.

Happy Hour was nice. 1 House Oysters, Paloma Cocktail, Salmon Appetizer and the Crab Dip which was VERY good and creamy. Bright casual ambiance was comfy.
