Steak was nice, the regular chips could've been more crispy, same with the fish. Was a quiet night, perhaps that was why, so that is forgivable. Based on the previous reviews, it appears that the food would normally be better. I'd chalk it up to an off night under trying times and trust that the other, more positive reviews are right. Service quick and staff pleasant, prices reasonable. Decor friendly, located not far off the A2 from Canterbury. Parking on the street

The staff are so friendly and the food was tasty. A lovely place to take the family for dinner. Would go again next time we are in Kent.
We had a really lovely meal here. The food was very good and the service exemplary. Highly recommend and we have promised the owner that we will return the next time we visit from the Midlands. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Great place, made very welcome. Food great and plenty of it. Great adherence to the new social distancing rules and regs, we will be going again.
