The Cyder House Inn

First visit this afternoon and will definitely be returning! Food was amazing, quick service and reasonably priced. Excellent COVID measures in place and tables thoroughly cleaned after people left. Only slightly disappointing thing was they had sold out of the vegetarian roast, but we did go late in the day and it just means we have to go back another time! There was lots of choice on the menu and really nice to see several vegan options. We also had a nervous dog which I mentioned when booking, so they reserved us a table in the corner as requested. Our server was lovely, super helpful and even walked around the other side of the table to give our dog space - very much appreciated. Thanks for a lovely experience, will be recommending.

Booked for a family Sunday lunch having read positive reviews on Trip Advisor and were delighted with our choice. The Cyder House is an attractive country pub located in the beautiful Surrey Hills near Godalming and offers ample off road car parking. Given the difficult COVID-19 restrictions things could not have been better organized. A friendly reception and Covid registration are completed without fuss and, impressively, the menu is available without contact using a smart phone! Tables are well separated and the staff make a point of exercising good social distancing while taking orders and serving food. There was an excellent and wide range of offerings on the menu. In particular my daughters are both vegetarian and special mention should be made of the outstandingly good vegan options on the menu. My own choice was the slow roast Belly Pork which was excellent. This was followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding which was also perfect - and not too large! All in all the Cyder House was a great lunchtime experience with a nice ambiance, outstanding service and great value as well. I would unreservedly recommend it.

Great food and service, cool for wet dogs too, they even have a dog station! We had freshly made sandwiches which come with chips. Pubs in the middle of the sticks, so great walking nearby. Evening menu looks decent was told Sunday lunch is a sell out and you need to book.
