Lovely place that we have visited a few times enroute to Pembrokeshire. It was very busy so a big wait on food. Nevermind, We had to put up with a mars slice and a scone which the kids loved. Staff were friendly and coped well with the whole covid thing.

Lovely cafe to drop in for a quick coffee with a friend or for a relaxed family lunch. It's easy to find something for everyone. There's small tables and easy chairs near the front, larger tables to the rear, even some toys to entertain the little ones and a few outdoor tables under a glass roof. We had lunch and it was all cooked fresh, plenty of choice and all prepared with care. Worth dropping in just to see the cakes!

Stopped in the cafe for breakfast on the way back home from our holiday. We were welcomed by a surly faced waitress who instructed us to put our mask on before entering which we were just about to do. We sat in the courtyard as we had our little dog with us, which was lovely. However this was spoilt by a sign coming crashing down on us narrowly missing my head. The rest of the time we were there staff were continually fussing with the sign which was less than 2 metres away from us. That said, the only mitigating factor for the whole experience was that the breakfast we had was very nice.

Great stop in Builth with our Huskey. All Covid safe we had table in the covered courtyard. Coffee with chocolate cake to die for very rich, very indulgent.
