The Cutter Inn

Sitting on the bank of the River Ouse is The Cutter Inn, from which their restaurant provides the perfect view. Nicely designed menu is easy to navigate with firm favourites available. Leah our waitress was happy and very pleasant where nothing is too much trouble. Our 1/2 chicken and chips, and fish and chips could not be faulted. So very tasty and the perfect portion size that ensures your tummy knows it’s had a good meal. Just now contemplating their pudding selection . Lovely atmosphere that is both relaxing and attentive. Well Done, 5 .

Nice pub for lunch and the food was good. Went back in the evening and it was a bit rowdy with a group very loud and over exuberant large lads who had had way too much to drink. Had to ask to move into restaurant or we were leaving. Evening meal was acceptable but nothing special and quite expensive for what we got.

Positive was we had 3 x roasts and 1 x curry. Initially the roast came out as chicken and chips but soon rectified and was nice with decent amount of gravy. Curry was delicious. What let it down was table service. We had to ask for menus, then catch a waiter to order. Food plates were not cleared for an hour, had to ask for a dessert menu, and only when we gave up and asked for the bill did the plates get cleared.
