Great Sunday lunch! The service was very welcoming and we had a lovely seat opposite the bar. We had the cheesy garlic bread to start which was delicious accompanied by a lovely Merlot recommended to us which we were able to sample first. We then had the roast chicken and roast beef. Very generous portions and extra gravy arrived very quickly. The pub is great and hopefully we will be back soon

Delicious Roast dinner! We were recommended this gem of a pub from a friend. The staff were excellent in welcoming us in and we were lucky enough to be seated in the best seat in the house. Our waitress recommended a lovely bottle of Merlot. We had roast beef and roast chicken with all the trimmings, both were delicious the gravy really made it but all the elements were fantastic. We can’t wait to come back and are doing our bit in Recommending to all our friends!
We had a wonderful meal here - the food was delicious, the menu was great, the service was impeccable and the staff were really friendly and so, so helpful. The atmosphere in the Cat and the decor are really nice and cosy, we felt really comfortable there and could’ve stayed all night. Highly recommend to anybody who loves a good meal at a nice cosy pub. Kudos to the staff, thanks for a good night!
We had breakfast here before heading to the national park! My partner got full Irish and I got the vegetarian African Style Poached eggs, and it was DELICIOUS!!! Also very nice coffee. Highly recommend.
Good portions of nicely cooked and presented food. Sanatiser at door then temperature check and shown to table. Where as you are seated could take off mask. Socially distance posters clearly visible throughout premises. Service good.
