Easily walked past as the entrance consists of a single door onto the street. Luckily I spotted the words micro bar. The staff were very friendly and followed the covid-19 guidelines perfectly. You enter through a narrow passage into an enchanting outer seating area which is heated. The bar itself is very cosy and offers plenty of choice whatever your choice of ales, ciders or drinks may be. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the drinks on offer.

Cosy little Microbrewery with a good range of real ales and ciders on tap. They do sell wine and gin but this is a place for beer lovers. Tiny indoor space and seating for a few outside, some under cover but best to book if you want to get in as it is popular with locals and visitors alike. Friendly service, a few bar snacks and Covid compliant.

Cosy real ale bar with a good sized, partially heated outdoor area. Rotating choice of real ales & ciders available as 3 thirds tasting platters. Impeccably observed Covid precautions.

Had a good visit needed to sit and relax. The staff were very accommodating at a busy time and found us an inside table an excellent choice of real ales on offer and plenty of other stuff. I must mention the cheese straws made by 'mum' they were super. Will be back

My first visit here & what a great find, 4 cask ales, 2 craft kegs, gravity ciders & tinned & bottled beers too. Pretty much enough to suit everyones taste. It's tiny place, but has a patio & some decent outdoor space on a dry day! I can imagine on a wet evening the bar itself gets packed as space is at a premium. But don't be put off, I visited on a Tuesday afternoon & there was plenty of room. They sell snacks here too, pork pies, game pies, olives & the usual crisps etc. The staff are both knowledgeable & friendly, I can recommend this place.
