We had never been before & had heard great things. For 35 a head, we opted to try their \Italian Experience\ where you can choose one course from each section & have slightly smaller portions. Highlights were the Pappardelle with smoked ricotta, pistachio & courgettes & the puddings. We had lemon tart with a poached peach & strawberry tiramisu. The latter although layered with strawberry compote, the coffee overrode any fruity flavour & it just tasted like a nice, traditional one.
Came here for a drink with friends. Plenty of outside seating and nice drinks and nibbles to boot. Only two customers allowed in the cafe at one time. Plastic screens up too to protect customers and staff. Chocolate brownies are good too!
Coffee and food were good. It’s a cafe not a restaurant though and they’re not doing the full menu (or at least weren’t when we were there) so Google profile is misleading.
What can I say - this is THE place for coffee in Totnes - especially early in the morning - so peaceful and beautiful. Very friendly staff, and the coffee is delicious! My favourite weekend coffee place when I visit.
