Great pub, staff are so friendly welcoming. Lovely ambience, good red wines ... And food is wonderful. Best to book a table, as its keeping everyone safe by having table service only. All the staff are so great , as things have changed when we need to stay seated , while they check everyone has drinks etc. They are doing really well in these different times. Thank you!

Visited The Crown on Tuesday for drinks and lunch. Plenty of customers ordering food which resulted in a small delay, but this wasn't a problem as we weren't in a hurry and it showed that everything was being freshly cooked to order. Which is nice! This pub has recently been refurbished and the decor is attractive. An enjoyable lunch.......very good overall, thanks guys.

Don't seem quite ready for reopening.. only cask beer was not in good condition. The reason given that they hadn't had the custom to sell enough. No packet snacks AT ALL. A quick trip to the shop could have solved that. Hey ho... Let's hope custom picks up

Beautiful sunny day nice cold white wine sprizer after a long work day while watching a buzzard hunting surprising view to be seen from back garden lovely
