Great pub. Excellent beer, kept and served well. Sensible COVID-19 precautions in place, which made this feel a safe place to drink in these difficult times.
Great pub with real ales and a very nice lunch with vegan carrot soup. Perfect meeting place for The Green Party team after a morning of leafleting and campaigning. Vote for Gary and Ian in the local elections ... friendly, experienced councillors working hard for the local community of Bilbrook.
I visited here today almost two years after my last revue, on that occasion I was not too favourable in my assessment but today, although the pub was very quiet the beers available were well presented and served exquisitely by the lone barmaid who was extremely knowledgeable and very polite. I also sampled a beautiful locally produced pork pie,very tasty. Overall I enjoyed my visit but the lack of atmosphere is a little bemusing given the wonderful decor and surroundings and the welcome that awaits your visit.
Always a great pint (green monkey of course) and the staff do their best given the current circumstances. Best pub in the village.
