Stayed in the Airbnb next to the pub (lovely find) after walking the K & A canal. Great little pub which brews its own ales on the premises. Had a lovely meal too - very reasonable prices. The landlord & landlady were very welcoming. Will definitely come back if in the area. 3 minute walk from the station.

Well where do I start? On a canal holiday and looking for somewhere to have a drink. The Crown was the only pub we could find that was open. The barman was rude, unfriendly and officious - we would have walked out if there was anywhere else to go.

Called in for a quick one New years eve, we were greeted with big friendly smiles. The pub was busy. The owners came round with picky bits to help the alcohol go down. Lovely warm friendly welcoming bar.
