Nice pub to pop in for lunch, we just went in by chance. Sat outside in the blazing sun. Staff were attentive, friendly and made you feel very welcome We had sandwiches, and these were exactly what we needed. They were propa door step ones with the filling skulking out of them. Served with crisps and coleslaw. You could've tell all fresh ingredients and made to order Will be visiting again Well done to this pub
We sat in the garden as we' were 2 households, they provided us with hot water bottles and were very accommodating. We had a lovely meal and would definitely return.
Excellent food on all of my trips here, nice atmosphere and lovely treatment of outdoor area due to covid. Will frequently return for more great food!
Booked a table online, where you chose the table you wanted to sit at & paid a 20 deposit, tables were all waited on for both food & drink. Food was very nice, traditional pub fare and prices are reasonable. Staff were lovely, polite but very busy. My only criticism is their booking system, luckily I rang up before I left as they had no record of my booking or deposit being paid, so I needed to take this with me. Then when we arrived there were at least 3 groups who had 'booked' the same table. This needs to be sorted out.
