I needed to have food delivered to my mother who lives in an independent living facility. She had dementia so I requested that they contact the carers to give my mum the food on arrival since my mum can't operate the security doors, I also requested that they ring me once the food was delivered. As promised the food was delivered promptly and I was informed when it was done and was able to verify it. I would give 5 stars but since I am not the one eating I can't say how good, however I can say I am appreciative of the service and would definitely recommend them.

Really nice cosy pub set out the way in the countryside. Had a really nice lunch the menu was great. Will definitely visit again the starter tapas selection was really good struggled what to pick as it all sounded so nice. Thank you
Absolutely love this place. We have been twice in 1 week due to having a much needed holiday. The service is always fantastic and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend. We have also had the take away service a few time and there is no difference in the food weather you eat in or take away its always on point. Rare we get to eat out but when we do the crown and thistle is always our first choice.
Only used the takeaway service, for this pub, a couple of times. Although mostly good and tasty, the chips each time were definitely undercooked, hard, very thick and a little cold. Just need to be a little thinner and also, cooked well with a slight crisp. Staff really nice. Will have to visit the pub one day as we only live 10 mins away. Would recommend.
Fantastic food and massive portions. Lovely decor. Just a warning even though they offer free WiFi. You will struggle to get any signal so its a great choice if you want a meal with no phones.
