Honestly I was anxious about traveling in the pandemic but needed to do so for essential work. The Crown & Punchbowl had really thoughtful systems in place on hygiene, social distancing, masks and so on and were very reassuring and welcoming. Food was excellent, rooms more than met my expectations and I'll happily return. Please support them during this difficult time.

Great local spot. The entire crew is extremely courteous. Menu is delightful. Never ate lunch next to a really old cemetery before.
Great stay. Good food. Lovely room. Only down side is my Medium rare steak was almost blue, unfortunately I was to tired and hungry to reorder.
Sophisticated delicious food in a lovely countryside setting. Service was great and the view over the cemetery in the back patio just reminds you to savour every moment.
We got takeaway Sunday roast, great service from the staff when we picked up the order, they were friendly and polite and helped to carry it to the car. The food was fine, but not anything amazing. Yorkshire puddings were nice. The chicken skin was unbelievably salty, even my salt loving son couldn't eat it!
