Tried their Takeaway service this afternoon. 3 course Valentines surprise for my other half, did not disappoint. Service was fantastic and bang on time.

Very nice pub, with separate restaurant section and bar area which is dog and kid friendly (and food is also served).
It's my local and I miss it so much, tried a takeaway meal on Saturday and it didn't disappoint, meals were on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious, hurry up Boris and get these Pubs back open.
Really enjoyed our meal. Starters, mains and desserts were appetising. Social distancing worked because of all the practices they had in place. With the 'eat out to help' we had no complaints. The pies were amazing, the chips had their skins left on and were beautifully cooked. Will go again even if there aren't any special offers on.
Moderate priced meals, great tasting food, brill atmosphere. Dog friendly in the bar area where you can also have your meal. I've been to the Crown & Anchor a number of times now and had a good meal here every time. I would highly recommend the fish pie as this has easily been the best meal I have had here. Staff are pleasant and provide good customer service.
