Seems like a place were locals usually hangout. Was an instant fan of the place after first sip of my perfectly poured pint of Extra-Cold Guinness. Food menu is extensive, although consists of mainly pub food. Loved haggis bites I had ordered and Venison Burger was delicious. Staff were super friendly and suggested me of few local walks which I cannot thank then enough for. If you want to experience nice Scottish country-side vibe, this is the place.one Extra star for service. Do make sure to check on the timings though as you would server drinks uptill 10:30 pm but the kitchen shuts at 8 pm. Steps-free access!

Super nice people here. My dogs were welcomed and if you welcomed my dogs and cuddle them that is the best you could do for me. Nice nachos....

We stopped on our way to portree for lunch and found this one to be decent enough. The food and restaurant was decently good. While it was time for paying the bill, I asked the waiter, if they are running the \eat out to help out\, the reply I got was it's only for UK residents. I didn't quite catch it at the moment, but it made me wonder because I am brown skinned whether the waiter assumed I am just visiting and not a resident of UK, which sounded very racial. The reply could have been they running the offer or not, but with this kind of reply, it really spoils the mood of the customer. From next time, please don't assume, at least ask for ID or something.

This wasn't our first choice for dinner, but everything else in town had been booked solid for at least an hour. The staff were very accommodating and kindly set us up in the drinking area with beers while we waited for a table to become available. The interior is a little dingy (and not in an endearing way), complete with both dead and alive flies on the windows sills. But the food was relatively cheap and I found the veal stew in Yorkshire pudding top-notch. The staff seemed genuinely interested in providing an enjoyable experience and stood out above all else.
