Due to COVID restrictions currently serving food and soft drinks. However, great food - good servings - and fantastic staff; very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Never been before and will definitely go back again. Thanks for a most enjoyable visit!

Brilliant wee bar at the best of times, but sitting in the \beer garden\ just now and have to say this place have everything nailed. Brilliant pint, brilliant staff, everything being cleaned constantly, track and trace being followed. Not often in St. Andrews, but I'll come back here time and again. Cheers guys!

My first time at St Andrews and the Criterion pub. I was told by a friend to visit the bar and I have to say myself and my wife have really enjoyed the time we spent at the bar. The bar staff are so friendly and very welcoming . The covid measures that are in place in the bar have to say i was very comfortable with and made us feel relaxed in the bar. The tables and chairs all wiped down before and after use in which I have to say I was very happy with it all . A big well done to the Criterion and all the bar staff for their efforts me and my wife will definitely be back guys well done
Clean and very accommodating. Slow service but good choice of drinks and felt welcome. Great outdoor area for drinking, even in the colder weather
