A little more expensive then some but the food is wonderful and all fresh. Staff/owners very friendly. They have magic floral teas which make it worth a visit just for that. Lovely friendly dog keeping everyone under control. Great relaxed atmosphere

It's a rare opportunity to say you've just had the best sandwich of your life but that happened today at the Cream Chimneys cafe in Kelso. Blue cheese, walnut and apple & ale chutney on malted brown bread. Full of flavour, texture and richness it was sooo good. Also had a bowl of lentil and bacon soup which was also excellent but not as good as the Moroccan spiced tomato soup my wife had. Rich with the lovely warmth of cumin. Reminded us of wonderfully winter warming lamb tagine. Wonderful lunch and the staff were very very good too. Attentive to the necessities of covid hygiene and the needs of all customers. I really cannot recommend this lovely cafe enough.
Lovely little cafe with great coffee. Soup could have been better but overall was pretty good.
Another lovely lunch at Cream Chimneys today. Spicy lentil & veg soup was delicious ! Great service as always with a particular mention for Piper our favourite 4 legged staff member
