What a great, quirky pub The Crafty Baa is. Small, compact but brimming with character, fantastic staff and a superb range of drinks. The walls and ceilings are adorned with an eclectic mix of items but it all works perfectly. Seating is available upstairs and down along with a few tables outside but enough to cater for the constant stream of visitors. If you are a fan of first class pubs/bars with a difference that are full of character and atmosphere, get yourself here.... it’s great. I’ll be back..!!!

First place we stopped for some food. We had a meat and cheese sharing platter and it was amazing and plenty of food! We had a Helles type beer and the beer was great too. Staff were lovely also. Had to wait a while for food but they were short staffed and was probably expected due to covid etc. Would recommend.

Quirky but cosy, the food was delicious! We ended up here on a cold and blustery night in Windermere. The only seats available were upstairs at the back by the (very confusing) toilets. The room was quite poorly lit and a bit uncomfortable, but the staff were super friendly offering up a crazy selection of drinks including 100 whiskeys. There was a delay on food, but when it arrived, we loved it. It was worth the wait! We would come back here again but would prefer to sit downstairs by the fire.

Nest baa in the area, love the free pie with a pint and the atmosphere is perfect for anyone. We have come back every night during our trip as we enjoyed it so much. The milk stout is fantastic and delicious we also tried one of their guests rhubarb and custard ale which was nice and tart with a rich finish.

Great place to have a gin and tonic drink. Friendly staff, great decor and great prices. What else would you need?
