Early days but the place has a great feel and the best decaf coffee I've had in St Albans. Yet to try but cake selection looks great, including a nice looking vegan chocolate cake. Homemade Tuscan bean and kale soup was delicious (nice mild spiciness) with excellent granary bread, proper melt in the mouth bread. Possible new favourite for me in town.

Bought a coffee on Saturday 40mins before closing time. Within 5 mins they were sweeping up near to us, and then they started sweeping literally underneath the chair I was sitting on! If they didn't want us there then they should NOT have sold us the coffee in the first place. I didn't give them 1 stars because previously, midweek, we've had better experience.
