The Court Yard Bar and Restaurant

Loved the decor and atmosphere in this courtyard setting. We ordered the burgers here which were very tasty and enjoyable. Expensive Irish coffees, not warm enough, not sugared and couldn't taste alcohol let our experience here down. Probably would give it another go though.

Came in for a special dinner on a Saturday night and came away very satisfied. The amuse bouche was a surprise and very tasty. The bartender made a couple excellent old fashioneds. We had the risotto and the sirloin with peppercorn sauce. Both were delicious! The apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert was a great way to end the meal.

Best thing I've ever eaten I had here. A good idea. It was so delicious and who knew a good idea was so romantic and quite tasty too. It makes a perfect starter, main or dessert. It is so filling yet so little. Fantastic. I will definitely eat a good idea again

Updated review 2...... reopened and back serving what I think is the best food in Deal! Food is excellent here !! Staff from chefs, table waiters, managers and front of house are extremely professional, polite and attentive. Would highly recommend! Updated review.........I'm please to say we had a amazing time here Christmas day, food and service was excellent. My mum said its was the best Christmas meal we'd ever had and I have to agree. I well thought out non rushed service that ran like clock work, we've already booked again for next Christmas and considering we travelled down from London it's a great compliment. Thanks to all the staff for making it a wonderful day........... Really charming place. Staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and extremely good value for money. will definitely be revisiting again when down from London. Just booked for Christmas dinner! good value for a festive meal.

Very beautifully decorated and clean bar and restaurant. Lovely hard working staff and owner. Superb food. It even has a rollback glass roof for that indoor/outdoor feel.
