If you enjoy good food, you'll love this place!! Our party of four had various meals from rump steak, duck, to lamb. All meals were well presented and of exceptional quality. Deserts were equally as impressive (although we collectively only had sticky toffee pudding and stem ginger cheesecake). The staff were extremely attentative and friendly too, making our overall dining experience an annoyance one. We went midweek, and at lunch, so not sure if you're better off reserving a table if dining in the evening. We didn't, but the place was still extremely popular even at that time of the day.

Awsome location...beautiful interrior...very detailed and cleen bar with nice sorts of beers ...Burgers on point. Very nice Thats 100 % England for me my favorite place for a evening beer with fireplace heat.
Delicious food at a good price. The vibe is very cozy and welcoming, almost like you’re eating at a friend’s home. I tried the pigeon for the first time and enjoyed it, plus presentation was beautiful on each plate. I’m only giving them four stars because they didn’t refill our jug of tap water and they took 15 min to give us the dessert menu after being asked. All in all, a great place.
A lovely, quaint village pub which served an excellent and flavourful Sunday lunch. However, I was disappointed with the portion size. It could do with being 30% bigger for the price of almost 14. But as I said absolutely delicious!
Nice lunchtime meal in the countryman. Good covid preparations. The food was very nice and service excellent. Recommended.
