Really cool \safe room\ in old bank. Excellent service and food to die for. We've already booked same table for October. Safe room is perfect if you want to have quieter meal time which is nice.

Ihad peri peri chicken, my wife had Lincolnshire sausage, both meals were freshly cooked and were excellent. We also had dessert and coffee, these were also excellent. The prices are very reasonable too. The restaurant and facilities were spotlessly clean. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful in a restaurant with a good atmosphere. Overall a great experience all round.
Been twice now and the food was great both times. Service is hit and miss, both visits they seated us without really considering we had a dog with us. Both times the staff were very attentive to begin with, then just didn't bother with us, which was awkward because of COVID rules.
Visited on a Thursday late afternoon in October. Social distancing was good. Waited over 10 mins at the door to be seated (only 2 of us) although although 5-6 tables were free (not reserved but may have been booked, unsure so didn't mind waiting) we did explain only coming in for a cocktail. Waited a good while again to be asked our order for our cocktails, not good tasting. 1 cocktail left full. No atmosphere when visited. Kept getting caught up in Halloween black fluff/web decor. I normally leave good reviews on places but couldn't for this visit sorry The other spaced out tables, never did get used during our visit.
We went for afternoon tea and it was excellent service and food. Thanks very much
