I have been going to this place for 33 years and it's such a special place for me and my family. It is truly a hidden gem in this crazy world.
Lovely cottage old cottage, a hidden gem this one. It has traditional fayre, roast beef, lamb, chicken, duck and poached salmon, no vegetarian option. 5 courses for 18.95, bring your own booze, cash only. But, lovely food, service and oldy worldly surroundings. Will definitely go again.
We have been visiting for over 30years and the food is as consistent, traditional and delicious as always. It never varies, home cooked and excellent and we love the people there and the cottage itself. It's like going back in time and your batteries are recharged after a visit. Wonderful and love it.
Lovely home made food served piping hot and not rushed. And very reasonable price. Take your own drink.
