Beautifully made steak and stilton pie, with lovely pastry. The chips, ham and egg were really nice as well.

Lovely little place. Great selection of farmhouse style foods to buy, and a lovely little cafe attached. I had a cheese, apple, celery and mayo sandwich which was a first for me - but delicious! Came with a really nicely done side salad too. Prices are fair and service is friendly and attentive. Easy to recommend.
Always enjoy my visits here. Jo and Bernard are fabulous owners and are extremely hospitable. The menu is varied and exciting. The shop has a good range of gifts for all. Fabulous establishment! You won't be disappointed!
We randomly saw this place on our tour of the Cotswolds and the bikes drew my partners attention. We went in and i was completely transfixed by the local produce. I love a farm shop! When decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather with a locally sourced ice cream and a pot of tea. I spotted some brown sauce sachets and enquired if I could buy a few as we were glamping nearby and my partners would want come on his bacon sandwich in the morning. The owner very kindly said we could have some for free. Whilst we were sat down enjoying the ice cream, the owner came over with a full bottle of brown sauce and thanked us again for our custom. I will definitely return to this shop anytime im in the area, youve a customer for life now!
Delightful. Plenty of room to park your bike and keep an eye on it from the terrace and tables that border the tasteful and charactered barn conversion which houses The Cotswold Food Store and Café. It really is Cotswold food! Local farms and suppliers adorn the shelves and menu, you really have to try the range of deli pies and those you can take home to cook. Very polite and attentive staff. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, filling without leaving you over full or in any way disappointed. Flavour and quality ingredient made it worth it, having visited around 11, simply didn't have to eat again until almost Supper time. Set along a great drive to Bourton-on-the-Water , it's a great venue to relax, break up a journey, enjoy good food and conversation. Family run, this foodery oozes taste, from its food to its decor. The passion of a life long dream is really evident. It's's really nice just to happen along and enjoy time away from it all. I think the pie run on my route to Summerset will be a regular occurrence.
