Felt very safe whilst in the pub. Just wanted ale which was spot on. In a handled glass even better. For a smoother experience I have acquired the gov. App. And will use a card to pay in future. As a top US politician once said, I'll be back.

It was a dull evening, although our B&B was super its 20 mins walk to St Ives, and we just wanted a local close by. This pub is certainly that. Unfortunately, it was fully booked for a meal but nevertheless we stayed for a few drinks and snacks. Friendly staff, well policed for social distancing and a good atmosphere. Lots of grub coming out and it looked good. Colin, co owner, was making mean Aperol Spritz despite never having previously made them! Good selection of beers and lagers....

A stunning olde worlde pub, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, friendly polite helpful staff and a traditional pub menu impeccably implemented. The steak ... perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth kind of goodness, fresher than fresh cod and the gluten free cod and chips were to die for. Best I have had in 10 years, crisp, light, freshly battered and delightfully flakey cod. So so so good. We will be back for sure. It looked so good i forgot to take pictures. Amazing food and drinks (very well kept beer) in a very traditional setting!

A very quaint local pub.. good service from the staff and the food was tasty and good too.. we stayed for the 'rather hard' quiz but it is a recommend for this walkable pub from our holiday home... new owners, all very welcoming, had the nickname 'The Princess' by the end of the evening...

Sooo dissappointed been coming here for about last 25 years since i was a kid and its always been a great meal in a great little traditional pub... it all went wong from the start, we arrived for a reservation which we made 6 weeks ago, to be told they had no record of us booking... but somehow had my other booking for later that week. Luckily they managed to find us a table next too door to the outdoor smoking area, which was also reserved for someone else later that evening. Everything just felt very rushed, from ordering drinks, to serving food (like they knew they needed the table in over an hour). The meal itself was average. Ciabatta with a very light dusting of cheese (cheesy garlic bread) certainly not worth 4 charged. Sunday roast was OK.. Veg was cold, potatoes tasted like they been cooked 4 hours ago and kept warm under hot lamp (rock hard). Yorkshire Puds clearly Aust Bessie's.
