Excellent service. Very covid-safe. Staff very helpful. I had ham, egg and chips which was fab. Loads of delicious ham. Nice to have a good ale out with family. Highly recommend. We did book first, just in case

Beautiful pub. Excellent food, wide selection of beverages. COVID-aware. Very clean (possibly the cleanest pub toilet in the UK.) Quick, professional service. Highly recommend and worth a detour. Enlarged garden seating. Thursday is quiz night.
Great to see The Cormorant open and more importantly doing well in these times. Went for Sunday lunch with my ma who is still nervous about going out. Everything was well run, tables well spaced out and the waitresses/waiters well drilled in keeping everything as safe as possible. Had a lovely roast beef dinner, really well priced with dessert. The slice of four layer chocolate fudge cake ma had was so big there was a fork full left on the plate. Never before has this happened ;) Well done guys in these strange and difficult times.
Had a lovely Christmas Eve lunch here. Staff were amazing and the food was perfect.
Lovely place. The staff is great. You have to book in advance however during weekdays you might be lucky to find a table. The staff is great and if they have availability they will accept you as long as you adhere to the Covid measures. I usually cycle there and I sit at the outside space which is great for a quick hot beverage before I continue cycling.
