Lovely lunch at the tea rooms, toasties and an amazing cream tea. The fruit scone was delicious, I would highly recommend before a walk around Bamburgh Castle.

Lovely tea room right in the middle of Bamburgh village. Dropped in for lunch with a reservation made this morning and went for the fish platter (prawns, crab, salmon, crayfish), some cakes and hot drinks. We left stuffed. Food was good, staff friendly and overall good value. Would recommend.
I was truly surprised as to how well run this tea rooms was run. Considering the current Covid restrictions, there was plenty of space between tables and there was a real effort to avoid too many covers. Whilst the staff did not wear PPE, they made every effort to socially distance from customers. The food was excellent, the front of house staff friendly and accommodating, and the ingredients local and food freshly made. Would definitely return if in Bamburgh again.
Cosy setting, friendly service and delicious home made soup and cheese scone. The children's lunch platter was excellent too, with proper ham and cheese.
Cream Teas, 2 scones and a cuppa, blooming lush. Staff are lovely, and they are dog friendly too, round in the back yard. Its quite sheltered so not too cold. food service nice and quick.
