Coopers is one of the best gems of Rochester. As its off the High Street a little its often missed by more touristy types, making it a great local. Drinks are very well priced and the pub itself is beautiful, especially the garden!

Oldest pub in the Southeast. The beers were great and hlthe Sunday roast very good! (Book in advance). The staff was friendly and overall a great place to go to when visiting Rochester.
Amazing pub. Proper British pub this. If you are a tourist and you are wanting to see a proper traditional British pub, go here. If you are British and want a pint, go here innit bruv
It's not the cheapest pub but lovely garden, very COVID secure - the only place which I have been to which tests for temperature at all, including the dentist and other medical places. Unfortunately not doing food at the moment. I would have liked to take my parents there. Cannot actually view their menu on their website because it doesn't work. They need to look at that issue.
Love this pub...always got a good selection of real ales on....
