It's an emotive issue \who's is the best fish and chips.\ By my reckoning they're from this place. Be prepared to wait, nearly always a queue, a long one, but that tells it's own story .

Great value fish and chips. Very popular so may need to queue but worth the wait Be careful with portions as 1 portion of chips can feed 3 or 4 people.
As usual the codfather food is delicious and the amount you get is great. The staff are lovely, the service is great. It always is a bit of a wait because of queues but at least you know the food is fresh and hot.
Went today at 4.30ish staff as usual polite and sorted my order despite the mask- I never realised how much we all lip read!! My grandson loves the fish bites but the child’s portion too small and the usual adult portion 5 a bit too much love the fact I can order what he wants which is 3. My family have never had bad service and I like the banter. But I do get annoyed on behalf of the staff when some customers take a pop at them for no good reason. Thank you to all the staff - we appreciate you
Been using Codfather for a number of years. Nice, friendly staff . Clean premises. Fish and chips consistently good. Popular place so be prepared to queue.
