Yet another fantastic tea from my local chip shop. I emailed my order went to collect, but was told there was a small problem and a little wait. I said no problem, when I got home to find a note on chips \sorry for the delay\ and 2 free sausages!!! Was not expecting that, fantastic service as always and lovely tasting food yet again.
Having said that I've never had a bad meal from The Cod House, there's always a first time. Tonight (18/12/20) the fish was very dry, crispy in places and dripping in cooking fat. It was so disappointing.
Delicious. Not greasy. Tasty. And a good choice, including different size portions. We will be back DO NOT BOTHER WITH ONLINE ORDERING.
The best fish and chips in and around town by far sometimes a little hit and miss but 99 % of the time really good, also like the new pager system can sit in the car and wait after paying good idea
