Superb food, excellent staff. Food was tasty, good portion size and didn't wait too long for the dishes or drinks! Definitely worth going to if in Marlow!

Ok let's start by saying that cheap it is not. But then with that dispensed with, the food is really really outstandingly good and service is great. The man himself was in, seated with a daughter we assume. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 1.5 hours frankly a little to short a time to be allocated the table when you spend not that much south of 400 for 4.5 persons.
Great place and the Michelin star is well deserved. It was one of the best Burgers and beetroots salads I've ever had. The service was great, very forthcoming and friendly. Ensuring that our table was always receiving everything we needed. They only took a bit too long to bring one Negroni. However as soon as we mentioned it they ensured it was delivered swiftly. We were seated in a separate room with a large table and there was a TV which was promptly switched off by the staff when asked. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite relaxed, as there's no dress code, a rarity for a Michelin star restaurant. Overall I would say that the food and the service were great and I would recommend going here to anyone.
I have eaten here a number of time with my family (kids aged 20 and 22 their partners). We all share multiple small plates. It has been consistently excellent and there has always been something that we walk away raving about. It can be busy but we have never waited more than 15 mins for a table. Go!
i prefer this pub to the other one further down the road! Food is from the same prep kitchen but in smaller form, meaning you can order a bit more variety, from what is purportedly the greatest hits over the years from the H and F. Brilliant food, good service.
