The store was OK but I was approached outside by a man on a pushbike asking me for money and cigarettes. Another local who witnessed the rather unpleasant experience identified him as \Barry\ and he was a well known local menace. Other than that the store was good .

A great store in a tiny town. They have good selection of everything. No need to take a special trip out of town. Helpful staff and after 5pm you can find many discounted items.
Great service and fresh produce. The only item from my list unavailable was fresh figs. So we got some dried ones. No real problem. Good helpful friendly staff.
Loving the new local ranges available in this coop now. Cooked with curry kits last night and Halo chocolate is fab. Worth a visit if you want something different.
I love this shop - clean and tidy. Also, the choice of products is very wide. People who work there are taking pride of job they do. Every time when we are in Bakewell we shop in Co - op and we never have to complain about anything. Thank you very much for what you do!
