Absolutely fantastic! The place is stunning, the food is better - literally every mouthful was an utter delight! The staff are warm and friendly and everything was reasonably priced for the quality! Would give more stars if there were more

Lovely English pub with good food, wine & beer and friendly service. Car park on a tight bend off the road. Small candlelit rooms, wood fire. Intimate. I cannot but recommend the place, the ‘but’ being very important. A most relaxing experience in a Cheshire village at the end of the runway of a major airport, but you wouldn’t know it. I hope this review has no effect as crowds of people would spoil the place. Not a secret, but the tranquility is worth preserving. Nice food from simple pork pie to platters of local fare to share. Truffle and Parmesan salad a must! Two small gripes...Occasionally noisy children running in and out to get away from lazy parents and on entering one could tell there was a boiler problem (temporary - a whiff reminiscent of marina fuel point). As long as they let me in, I’ll be going back again and again.
A real gem of a find, awesome food and brilliant staff, the mallory room is perfect for private functions, well recommended, we will be back.
