Exceptional quality chip shop - never disappoints! Had the most ginormous piece of hake ever, and boy was it tasty! The scampi is also always delicious, but they often sell out, so you need to be quick! Great quality, decent price... You can't go wrong!

This is the third time that we have bought fish and chips from the Chip Shed and each time we have really enjoyed the hot crispy fish and perfect chips, cooked in beef fat. The social distancing is fully adhered to and I felt safe whilst making my purchase. Thank you.

Vegetarian. They have a separate fryer and will fry your chips etc separately if you ask. Took around 8 minutes but means you also get fresh hot chips. Good size portions and the fish was massive. Accept credit cards

This is truly excellent fish and chips. We've been eating from here for some time, and it never fails to disappoint. Ever. The scampi is my personal favourite, and is the best scampi I've ever had. Weirdly for fish and chips, you can eat it and not feel bloated/disgusting afterwards. The meals are the perfect portion size and reasonably priced. The chips are crispy-ish on the outside with a soft, smooth centre, and the batter on the fish/scampi is just lovely, with a hint of beef dripping in the flavour... Then you have the sides. The mushy peas have a truly nostalgic flavour- I don't know how they do it- and the curry sauce is delightful. Be prepared to wait if it's a busy night, but trust me, it really is worth every single minute of the wait.
