Great wee chip shop, and great prices.
Disappointed, I hadn't been in for a while and thought I'd give it another chance. Two fish suppers cooked fresh, got them up the road and the batter was soggy, to the point of being unpleasant. I reckon that the fryer wasn't up to temperature, the chips were also a bit limp, both the fish and chips were cooked but only just. It's a shame as I think with a little extra effort the chip barn could match the other chip shop in Strathaven.
Chips are a bit mank but the pizza is class
Always pleasant staff, and lovely food xxx
