Had a lovely late lunch at The Chestnut today (Sunday 20th September 2020) with my husband! We had brie, bacon & cranberry panini & bacon, mushroom & cheese panini, English breakfast tea & Earl Grey tea with a slice of lemon! nice & tasty. Friendly staff! It wasn't to busy just the right amount of people & they were mindfull of wearing face masks coming in & going out! Staff cleaned the tables & menues after people left! This is our 2nd time there, we will certainly be back, very reasonably priced as well! Loved the little farm shop as well, I bought a few bits, cakes, jams & biscuits!

Stopped off here on long journey. Quaint little place attached to a small garden centre. Indoor/outdoor seating and nice conservatory. My little one is fussy water but she liked the sandwiches. Coffee was nice. We had the Ploughman's which whilst tasted nice we thought was a bit lacking given the 'main course' price. We saw others had ordered different mains and got a lot more for their money. Fresh cakes looked v nice though, and flapjack was tasty.
Very nice cafe for older people. Latte was very good and hot, flapjack moist and tasty. Food served quickly and staff were friendly but at 64 I was youngest by some years. Perhaps it was just that visit. 5*'s.
Lovely little coffee shop. Pleasant staff. Had a large and smaller breakfast. Tasty but not warm enough which is why we marked down on stars but would definitely try again.
