Outstanding! By far our favourite meal during our break in the Cotswolds. We found The Chequers by chance after a long walk and stopped in for a glass of wine, we were made very welcome along with our dog and noted that the pub was spotlessly clean and had a beautiful interior. We decided to book dinner the following evening and were so glad we did. The dining room is beautiful, and the food bursting with flavour. My partner said his liver dish was the best he had ever tasted, and my duck salad and pasta were just perfect. Absolutely first class, we only wish we lived closer as we would be regulars for sure!

Called here for an early lunch on Tuesday 18 August. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a beef and red wine pie followed by sticky toffee pudding. Both were amazing and washed down by a well kept pint. Would definitely call again.
