A good local pub, recently saved by the community from developers. Excellent staff, had Christmas lunch with a large group of friends in December. Very good food and the large group was catered for really well. Live music on occasion here. Vibrant and welcoming.

Excellent pub with great and friendly staff. Good food, good choice of drinks, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and amazing decor inside. Couldn’t ask for better service, would definitely visit again 100%.
We booked the function room with catering for 50 people and were we very impressed. The selection of food provided, along with the quality, was exceptional, along with an excellent price. The staff were very professional and attentive to our needs and provided a service that I couldn’t fault in the slightest. Well done to Jill and the team

It's nicer than it ever was. Not because it has been done up but just because it is what it is. It now is doing what it should serving the community. It's a lovely old pub. Nothing fancy and that goes for the food but what a hole it would leave if it went. Nice friendly bat staff. Older crowd just wanting to enjoy a drink and a chat
