I tried to order Scotland Magazine for my mum from The Chelsea Magazine Company. It never showed up. I sent emails and no one responded. Very unprofessional. They managed to charge my credit card of course. I'm sure I'll be ages trying to get a refund. A little communication goes a long way. I'm a pretty patient person. You took my money and ran. Criminals.

Really wish I could give it ZERO Stars! Really not impressed with this company at all. When I signed up for a 1 year subscription for the Baby magazine due to my newborn arriving next month, I thought I will receive these monthly magazines to help me prep for the birth of my baby. I had waited two and half months for the first magazine to be sent to me. No communication/ nothing on emails to let me know status.. there was practically nothing from them. When i phoned them yesterday to cancel this subscription, the women sounded sound she really couldn't care less whether i was happy or unhappy about anything I had to say - I am glad i have made the decision to cancel and will not go anywhere near this company ever again. The lady said she will sort out a refund for me- but currently still waiting on an email or communication to let me know what i happening with that also. I suspect i will have to call them in a couple of days for an update. Absolutely disgusted - to treat new customers like this is a joke!
Sorry to read the negative reviews here but I only have good things to say. I began a subscription here in the States and promptly moved across the country, then moved again before they could catch up with the address changes. I missed a number of issues. In response they extended my subscription to ensure I get the entire series or Racecar Engineering and I recently received 3 issues that had failed to deliver and this is all done while the world is dealing with COVID-19. They have been responsive through the entire process and made me whole without ever asking anything of me. Perhaps there's new management since the time of the poor reviews.
Good company to work for. Pleasant people and a strong business model.
I cancelled my husband's gift subscription to Artists and Illustrators having subscribed for 3 years. Unfortunately my direct debit had already been taken (on the 8th February 2019). Today is the 24th April and I still have no refund despite regularly calling and being promised they will get back to me, which they never have. Now considering legal action.
