Nice pub, I liked it. Bigger and more atmosphere inside than I thought from driving past it for many years without ever going in. A nice pool table, free on Wednesdays, friendly staff. If you are ever in Shelton and want a break or refreshment, you could do a lot worse than popping into the Charlton.

I have passed it many times but happened to pop in for a drink, and can say it is aclovely pub. Nice atmosphere, friendly welcoming bar staff, a pool table with plenty of room to play, (free Pool on Wednesdays), overall, a great little pub. I thoroughly recommend it.
