Very dated pub in desperate need of a refurb! Has 'Sunday lunch' advertised on the side of the building but after booking and being seated found out they no longer did them as they weren't popular enough? Friendly staff and nice food though.

Had a most enjoyable meal and time here, everyone was friendly and the food was very tasty and very well priced. The meat is sourced locally (just near Yeovil), so can't complain about that!
What a disappointment we had pre ordered our food as we were having a birthday party for 6 and thought it would help the staff little did we know. we hadnt even sat down and our starters were served .i hadnt even finished my starter and we were told the mains were coming.there was no brake between course we felt like you just had to hurry up and eat.and the main meals were very disappointing one didnt even get eaten as was still full from starter.when ordering drinks 1 glass was brought empty and when was question was made to feel as if we had had the drink but was lying.not a enjoyable night everything was rush and very uncomfortable.a very big shame
