Wonderful food and service! Is a bit more on the expensive side when it comes to the food and alcohol but I personally would say it's worth it. I definitely recommend the Wild Boar hot-dog!

Turned up as a family (there were 13 of us) they said they would have to split us up into a group of 6 and group of 7 which was fine, but they separated us across the room even though the place was practically empty and we were all together as a family, then when we asked to move closer the female manager/owner was very rude even tho we were asking nicely, they said it was social distancing but then sat a family right where we asked to move. Practically no social distancing measures are actually in place, even as you walk in the door there are people sat next to you, no matter where you sit you aren't even a metre from others. Absolutely ridiculous, never coming back. Do not recommend. Drinks were flat. But food was good, great portion sizes, and prices were pretty good too.

Staff were very pleasant albeit too busy. Food was typical pub staples with a few welcome variations. It was pleasant enough with 2 exceptions. Garlic bread with mozzarella was forgotten and when it did arrive at the end of our meal the garlic was still raw. Onion rings were heavily overcooked and tough to eat. Kids portions were a good size and the pub itself was nice enough, not terrible but not great either.

We were on holiday staying on the Haven site nearby .After getting off to a confusing start and being told different things by different staff we left it a fews days and gave it another try. The food was lovely very big portions, it was a very clean place and covid safe. We re-visited the following night.

Lovely and warm, nice quiet atmosphere and 2 lunches for 14: very good quality and large portions. Good choice of desserts for under 4: Free parking. And a huge choice of gins. We will come back.
