Had lunch there yesterday afternoon. Absolutely fantastic mince and dumplings and cornbeef pie. Plenty veg (separate) and large gravy boat. Washed down by Offshore Pilsner (highly recommend) Really nice service from genuine girl (who's name we didn't get) She is a complete asset to the organisation. It's welcome and food like this that will have us returning. Absolutely first class.

Amazing family day out for everyone. Causey Arch is a beautiful place to visit, it has walks, History and the Tanfield railway. It has free parking, picnic areas and a two cafes if you forget to take a picnic. It's close to Beamish which is another added bonus. Enjoy
What a fantastic place to have sunday dinner the food was perfect lisa (manager) was a delight and her staff very entertaining thank you everyone !!!!
Brill but the steaks were tough and leathery. I think it's a blip, but can't recommend at the mo.
Lovely welcoming and attentive staff. Delicious meal and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.
