We had a delicious meal on Friday before the August Bank Holiday weekend. We were made to feel very welcome and the service was friendly and efficient. The masala batter fish and chips is superb. A pint of Taylor's Dark was excellent. We'd love to return and walk around the reservoir and explore Haworth and hope it's not too twee. Maybe too much to hope expect. Good to see track and trace details attended to in a professional friendly way. Mike and Kris.

Great pub. Beautiful views from the beer garden. Delicious food. Great staff and always a bonus it's very dog friendly there's even a menu for them too! Highly recommend.
Lovely food as always, staff friendly and helpful, my only thought was maybe let me pour my own gravy over pie, maybe send it out in a jug, I like not so much gravy on pastry. Orange and chocolate cake was superb, really enjoyed it xx
We spent a long time round Halifax looking for dog friendly pub and really struggled then we stumbled across this place just outside of Halifax that could not of been better. Lovely hot fire and great food. Really homely and friendly staff. Only things to note when visiting, the steps from the car park into the pub are very steep, the baby change is a window sill and only in the ladies toilet (21st century now guys, dad's change nappies) and you have to pay at the end of the bar which can be a bit chaotic. Other than these issues it's a great place !!! Would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit again.
