We visited a couple weeks ago, had the steak pie which was excellent. Super friendly and covid safe. Loved sitting by the fireplace.

They have changed owner and it looks much nicer now. Staff is very friendly and welcoming
Friendly, cosy, beautiful open fireplace. Quaint pub in the village. Good food offering although we did not eat. Stopped for a cuppa and a loo break . Newly refurbished the lovely lady said behind the bar. Will stop off later in year for a supper visit!
Warm reception from landlady and barman. Selection of ales and a cider on handpump. Lunches served most days and dinners on latter half of the week. Also Sunday roast available. A lovely open fire adds to the warmth. My chicken and mushroom pie was served with excellent mash and two veg. There's a pub quiz every other Wednesday (yet to be experienced).
Outstanding ambience, great food and really nice staff. We went well after breakfast time, but they still happily served us meals from the breakfast menu. Definitely recommend!
