In these difficult times for local village pubs its great to find a good traditional British pub with welcoming, hard working staff meeting all the relevant covid requirements whilst offering exceptionally good quality food,( I refer to the Christmas roast diner we have just experienced) served up by the landlord and landlady, Ken and Chris. Well done folks the village appreciates all that you do to promote the village and community. Whilst publicans do their bit for the community the community must continue to support their local pubs too, or ultimately loss these assets that make their villages what they are.

Really friendly local pub, fair prices with decent food.
Nice pub/B and B. verry friendly owner and clean rooms. Great food!! The plumming could do with a upgrade but its a old building so i dont know if that's possible.
My son and I had lunch today and really enjoyed it! The staff couldn't have been more helpful despite having to deal with all the COVID restrictions. It was clean and very welcoming. Highly recommended.
Lovely place to sit by the fire and have a drink
